\"\"<\/a>Yesterday I was called to the front of Junction Station to investigate a man lying on the street.\u00a0 I discovered two men with spanners who were dismantling a bicycle so that they could load it and a number of milk crates onto two other bicycles.\u00a0 For about \u00bd an hour I kept intermittent watch on the complicated procedure \u2013 the jigsaw like placing and replacing of bike parts and the delicate threading of rope through the load.\u00a0 It didn’t seem possible to put such a load on a bicycle.\u00a0 But at last they finished and climbed on their bikes.\u00a0 And rode into the station.\u00a0 The main bike was so big I had to open the bypass gate for them.<\/p>\n

“Will you fit in the lift?” I asked.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ll just have to see,” shrugged the cyclists cheerfully.\u00a0 They had that alternative lifestyle look and attitude.<\/p>\n
